City’s FY2020 Operating Budget Failed Approval by Council

The operating budget tonight was defeated, 6 yea votes, 2 present votes,1 absent, 4 nay votes, which an ordinance requires 7 votes to pass. Per City Charter, the Council is required to pass a balanced budget 30 days prior to the end of the fiscal year.
