An Ordinance to Authorize and Approve a Contract Between the City of Wilmington and Teladoc Health, Inc. for Telehealth Services
Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance authorizes the execution of a contract between the City of Wilmington and Teladoc Health, Inc. for telehealth services for City employees and their dependents. The contract is for the period of three (3) years from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2023, at an estimated maximum price of thirty-two thousand dollars ($32,000.00) per year, with the possibility of three (3) additional extensions of one (1) year thereafter at the same estimated maximum annual price.

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 40 of the City Code Repealing and Replacing Section 40-8 Thereof Regarding the Wilmington Employee Plan of Occupational Safety and Health
Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance amends Section 40-8 of the City Code by placing responsibility for preparation of the Wilmington Occupational Health and Safety Plan with the Wilmington Occupational Health and Safety Administration.

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 40 of the City Code to Permanently Add Juneteenth to City Employee Holidays with Pay
Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance amends Chapter 40 of the City Code, Section 40-332(a), by permanently adding Juneteenth, also referred to as Freedom Day, to the list of City employee holidays with pay to commemorate the abolition of slavery on June 19, 1865, the day that the news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached some of the last people in America still held in bondage. The Ordinance shall be deemed effective as of October 1, 2020.
