Synopsis:       This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance authorizes the execution of an agreement with The Lerro Corporation for on-site engineering services for the WITN TV Station for the period from March 1, 2025, through December 31, 2028, at an estimated price of One-Thousand Two-Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,250.00) per month.

A Resolution Encouraging the Administration to Organize a Wilmington 250 Initiative in Honor of Independence Day

Synopsis:        This Resolution is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval.  In accordance with the 2022-2025 Wilmington City Council Strategic Plan goal of a “Connected, Informed, and Engaged Wilmington,” this Resolution encourages the Administration to develop an initiative to facilitate a Wilmington 250 commemoration of the semiquincentennial of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Wilmington 250 initiative should involve collaboration with institutions and experts, including but not limited to the City’s Historic Preservation Planner and the Delaware Historical Society, to produce initiatives that reflect the distinctiveness of our City’s story.

Synopsis:         This Ordinance is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance rezones a portion of the parcel of land located at 1600 West Eighth Street (being Tax Parcel No. 26-027.10-253) occupying a portion of the block bounded by West Sixth, West Seventh, North Scott, and North Dupont Streets from a zoning classification of R-3 (One-Family Row Houses) to a zoning classification of R-5-A-1 (Low-Medium Density Apartment Houses).
