Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance amends Chapter 40 of the City Code to establish a Five-Year residency requirement for city employees, excluding elected officials, and establishes the geographical boundaries within the City of Wilmington limits. Also, this Ordinance establishes a Residency Working Group. Lastly, on a housekeeping note, this Ordinance updates the names of the Human Resources Department and its Director.
