Weather permitting, the spraying will occur between 5:15 a.m. through 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning. If the spraying is not completed on Wednesday due to the weather, the spraying will be attempted again the next morning, Thursday, September 13.
Application of the insecticide Sumithrin will be applied via a pickup truck. The insecticide, dose and application method will be identical to what occurred on previous occasions in 2016, 2017 and 2018 in the Southbridge community.
Although not required, anyone with concerns about exposure to the spraying may remain indoors during the spray event, and for up to 20 minutes after the spraying is completed. Residents are encouraged to text SOUTHBRIDGE to 95577 to receive future spraying and community updates.
