Wilmington Jaycees to name next Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian
At-Large Council Member James Spadola will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2023 Wilmington Jaycees Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian Award Ceremony on August 19.
Wilmington, DE – At-Large Council Member James Spadola is encouraging people to attend the 2023 Wilmington Jaycees Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian Award this Saturday, August 19.
The 2023 Wilmington Jaycees Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian Award recognizes and honors young professionals 18 to 41 years old who work or live in Wilmington and have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and community service.
The 2023 nominees are:
Charles Vincent (Spur Impact)
John Gallagher, Jr. (SAG-AFTRA)
Jo Norris (Carbon Reform)
CJ Bell (The Connect)
Chelsea Spyres (Grace United Methodist Church)
Mac McLeod (Carvertise)
At the ceremony on Saturday, August 19, 2023, only one nominee will receive the 2023 Wilmington Jaycees Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian Award. The community is invited to attend from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other professionals and celebrate the honorees’ achievements. Councilman Spadola will deliver the keynote address. He was a previous award winner in 2015.
